Your pilot to the open seas

Buying a yacht is not a venture to embark on alone. You need a trusted companion.

You need the help of someone with decades of experience who knows the ropes. Our founder, Nigel Wales fills this role admirably. To him negotiating the purchase of a boat registered in the British Virgin Islands, with the vendor in Hong Kong, the buyer in Germany and the boat lying in Spain is nothing new. Nigel and his team will start the process with an in-depth survey of the market, locating vessels that precisely match your needs. Identifying likely targets, we’ll make viewing trips to examine the yacht and report back with a totally impartial review. Given the go-ahead, we’ll then negotiate the deal, liaising with maritime lawyers and leaving nothing to chance until you cast off on your first cruise.

Testimonials

Notes from the ownersʼ suites
A long-term member of the Mediterranean Yacht Brokers Association, we adhere to a strict code of practice. At the same time, we value our independence and our freedom to take a flexible, pragmatic approach on behalf of our clients. They appreciate our commitment and dedication to personal service, which is why they regularly come back to us for help with buying, selling, chartering, mooring and all things yachting. Here are a few of their reports.

“I literally had no idea where to begin, which arguably made me vulnerable, so I wanted to select the right partner to join me in this journey of exploration.”

David

“Nigel kept me informed of potential buyers throughout the process, but didn’t let news of ‘tyre kickers’ reach my doorstep,” continues Chetan, “and when it came to sewing up the final deal, his experience really shone through. Lady Anna III’s sale posed quite a complex challenge, but he instantly grasped how the boat was registered in the British Virgin Islands with the vendor in Hong Kong, a buyer in Germany and the boat physically lying in Spain.”
